The company was formed in the summer of 2005 by friends Josie Zohny, Samantha Worrell (who left the company in 2007) and Shukmei Wong. The WeRoqq Team has experience in marketing and promoting industry luminaries (L'il Jon and the Eastside Boyz, L'il Mo, Tweet, Remy Zero, Denise Rich, The Gotti Family, Bizzy Bone of Bone Thugs and Harmony, Kelly Clarkson, Kings of Leon, etc.) along with underground artists. WeRoqq has also coordinated fashion shows and secured placements in industry bibles like Vibe, InStyle, Glamour and ElleGirl.
